Hughes Performance transmissions and torque converters follow our standard core return policy. Here's what you need to know to get your deposit refunded.
Return Timeline
Return your old Hughes Performance unit within 30 days of receiving your new part.
How to Return the Core
1. After installation of your new part by a licensed shop, set aside the old transmission or torque converter for return. 2. Use the provided return label to ship the core back. Contact us if you need a freight pickup arranged. 3. For automatic transmissions, make sure the torque converter is included with the return — it is a required component. 4. Package the core securely and ship within 30 days.
Core Condition Requirements
To receive your full deposit refund, the Hughes Performance core must be:
- Complete — all components included (torque converter required for automatic transmissions)
- Rebuildable — no catastrophic or unrepairable damage
- Not disassembled without authorization
Refund Processing
Once your core is received and inspected at the Hughes Performance remanufacturing facility, your deposit refund is issued within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.
