Guaranteed Fitment means we stand behind the compatibility of the part you receive with your specific vehicle.
How Fitment Is Verified
When you order from Expedia Parts, fitment is verified using your VIN number and/or Year/Make/Model information. OEM engines and transmissions are manufactured to fit multiple years, makes, and models — and we use OEM interchange standards to confirm that the part you receive is compatible with your vehicle.
What Guaranteed Fitment Covers
If a fitment issue occurs due to an error on our part — meaning we shipped the wrong part based on the information provided — we will make it right. This may include sending the correct part or processing a return at no additional cost to you.
What Guaranteed Fitment Does Not Cover
- Misdiagnosed vehicle issues: If you order a part based on an incorrect diagnosis (for example, you thought the transmission was the issue but it wasn't), this is not covered under Guaranteed Fitment.
- Customer-provided incorrect information: If the VIN or vehicle details provided at checkout were inaccurate, fitment responsibility falls on the customer.
- Installed parts: Once a part has been installed, it is not eligible for return under any standard return policy, including fitment claims.
