A restocking fee is a charge applied when a part is returned or an order is cancelled after processing.
Expedia Parts Restocking Fee Policy
All eligible returns and cancelled orders (after order processing has begun) are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fee. This fee covers the costs of:
- Inspecting the returned part
- Repackaging it for inventory
- Coordinating logistics to return the part to the supplier
How It Works
The 25% restocking fee is deducted from your refund. For example, if you paid $1,000 for a part, the restocking fee would be $250, and your refund would be $750 (before any applicable return freight deductions).
Non-Refundable Situations
Not all returns result in a refund. The following situations are non-refundable:
- Parts ordered incorrectly due to customer error
- Parts ordered based on a misdiagnosis of your vehicle's issue
- Installed parts (not eligible for return)
In these cases, the restocking fee process does not apply because the part cannot be returned at all.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been processed or shipped, we may be able to cancel without a fee. Once processing has begun, the 25% restocking fee applies.
