At Expedia Parts, all engines and transmissions ship via freight carrier (LTL/truck freight). Due to the size and weight of these parts, standard parcel carriers like UPS or FedEx are not an option — freight is the only safe and reliable method for shipping heavy powertrain components.
Shipping Rates
- Commercial address (continental US): $299 flat rate
- Residential address or liftgate service required: $398 flat rate (additional $99 added)
If your delivery location does not have a loading dock or forklift, you'll need liftgate service — a hydraulic platform that lowers the pallet from the truck to the ground. This applies to most residential deliveries.
Additional Freight Surcharges
Deliveries to remote zip codes or certain states — including Colorado, Utah, Montana, New York, Oregon, and California — may incur additional freight surcharges beyond the standard rate. We'll let you know if your delivery address is subject to any extra fees.
Transit Times
- Standard freight: 2–4 business days for in-stock parts
- Expedited freight: 3–5 business days (where available)
Please note that transit times exclude weekends and holidays, and are dependent on parts being in stock at the time of your order.
